Rick The Stick – a comic on the Interwebs

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! Made some tweaks to the site this weekend – there’s a new subscription icon on the left and I moved it up. I’d like people to know that the emails are spam-free and contain no ads. I get some other webcomics in my email and they contain ads. The problem with that is that they’re usually not relevant and I’m not sure that I want the advertiser or ad provider to have access to my email inbox or even worse possibly my email address. So I don’t plan on using them. I will however start using ads on my website to provide a source of incremental income – however small it is, maybe it could pay for my hosting.

I’m very excited as the comic this week features a barn-buster on Wednesday!!! It has only ONE WORD in it. It also features some heat between Rick and Joy. I’m not saying much else. I should be able to get somewhat of a buffer built this week as I hope to get some extra work in during the weeknights and I have the SEO and other things set up for the blog posts all ready to go. I had Monday through Wednesday drawn last week but only scanned Monday and Wednesday – DOH! The good news is they’re done, so I only have to hustle tonight for tomorrow’s strip. I just need to print out next week’s stuff to make sure I get a good jump on the week. Next week introduces a new short term character who works for Joy’s accomplice. I won’t say anything more. Most people think the accomplice is either Dan the Stickman or Winchester – we’ll find out soon as it’s all coming to a head.
