lol @ patient patient. need to remember to check it out on the site, rather than email, cause of the bubble thing.

If Rick had the patience to be a patient patient, then he’d be the most patient patient patient they have ever had. I understand your pain Rick, if things would happen faster I’d be a more patient person as well. :)

There’s just something about sitting in the waiting room that seems to make time almost come to a complete stand still. You’re not sure if you can engage in conversation with someone, or if you should just peruse the selection of 3 year old magazines collecting dust on the table in the middle of the room. Low and behold your day is suddenly brightened for a brief moment when you find a 1981 Highlights Magazine, only to be shattered again cause half the pages are torn out or at least in halves, and the rest of the answers and hidden objects have already been solved (Probably by yourself when you were a young lad in your Pediatricians office). so once again your stuck reading a dated magazine, or chuckling at the stories that are told by some stranger that has decided you are the one he feels most comfortable to talking to.

So as we sit here waiting for a nurse to call our name we learn two things about ourselves:

    1. We are not patient people, not even close

    2. We are very thankful for thinking ahead this year and getting our flu shot, cause some of these people look rough.

Note to self: Wash Hands with boiling water!

Love me the Highlights magazine. Spent half hour in the doctors waiting room and spent 5 minutes with a nurse yesterday for my son. I thought about breaking this type of conversation as I was waiting but resisted in fear of ending up waiting even longer.

He poses a good point. My definition of soon and the receptionist definition of soon are probably drastically different as my GF would agree. I mean Soon to me is 5-10 minutes to them its clearly and hour

There you go. I wish they posted a “waiting time” clock in their waiting room. Then I would just go get something to eat or go get the paper. SHEEEESH!

I like how at the bottom it says “Spread the word please! Tell all your friends, family and radom strangers!” So, it’s like, one day, you come home and your friend or whoever says: “How was your day?” and you go: ” Pretty interesting, acutally. Well, you know how I read Rick the Stick, the online comic? (Very suddely dropping the hint that they should check it out too) Well, Ken said to tell a random stranger about it, so I walk up to this guy on the street and go, ‘Hey, man. How’s it goin’? So, there’s this online comic called Rick the Stick, really funny. You should check it out sometime. And he looked at me like I was crazy! Can you believe that?” and your friend goes “Oh, of course not. Well, uh, I’m uh, just gonna leave now…maybe you should lie down for a little while…” So, on second thought, maybe you shouldn’t tell random strangers. If you do, avoid telling your friends, for they will surely become afraid for the stability of your mental health. Just a suggestion.

Haha – I like that you put some thought into spreading the word Steph! Okay, so you may alienate a few of your friends, your family and may have to be committed, but that’s a small price to pay for the knowledge that you’ve spread the mediocrity.

      Bravo Steph, bravo!!
