Happy Monday everyone! While you’re in your office, cubicle, or at your desk settling in for a nice long day of work, I’ll be settling in for an awesome day of drawing. I’m very excited – I took today off to catch up on the strips. As of Sunday night, I only have Monday and Tuesday done. I completely blew through the little buffer I had because of the following…
Wow. What a weekend! I got to spend an exhausting 48 incredible hours with my brother, sister-in-law and their “energetic” daughters – my nieces. We went to the Florida Aquarium on Saturday and Bowling @ Splitsville on Sunday. Doesn’t sound like a lot huh? Well we ate. A LOT! For Starters we had lunch @ Pane Rustica on Saturday and dinner @ their hotel in the Westin on Harbor Island. The girls were talkative the entire time. What’s amazing is they do gymnastics and were bouncing off everything no matter where we were. Crazy. Sunday featured an awesome brunch @ Jackson’s, once again in the Westin and after bowling, I made dinner @ home. Steaks and Shrimp. The girls only eat chicken strips or some form of it. Or pasta. That’s pretty much it – so they had chicken strips. In between eating and playing, there were lots of going here and there and herding the kids. Not to mention our little four month old guy – who btw – was spectacular. Despite spending an inordinate amount of time in his car seat or stroller, he rarely had a meltdown. When he finally cried a little bit, my sister-in-law quipped – “wow! he does actually cry!” He even fell asleep in the bowling alley. Lots of special family moments including over 200 pictures for the weekend.
Regardless, I’ll be working live on the web today at some point. Check my twitter feed or facebook for updates on times. They only last an hour or so before I usually have to take a break. There’s only video, but there’s picture-in-picture so you can laugh at my ugly mug in the bottom corner…and see me hack up a lung as my allergies are going ballistic right about now.
