Rick The Stick – a comic on the Interwebs

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Hopefully you’ll be/we’re stuffed with turkey and not too sleepy to catch up with RTS!

Personally, I’d like to take a quick second to say I am extremely grateful this year for many things. First and foremost, the birth of my son. Who knew that it would be so much hard work? Haha! Seriously – why didn’t anyone tell me! My son is extremely handsome and I love every second with him. I’ve even come to appreciate it on occassion when he’s screaming in my ear. I’m thankful for my wife who’s been with me over 14 years. Who knew she would be so much work? Seriously. I’m thankful that I had the chance to hang out with my brothers at a Florida Gator football game. I’ve very lucky to have grown up with two of the best people in the world. I’m thankful for my dad – and that he found happiness with another after my mom passed away eight years ago – coincidentally on the same day my son was born and I’m extremely thankful that a day of such great sorrow has been replaced with one of joy. I still mourn my mom’s passing, I will now be fortunate enough to enjoy that day once again.

I’m thankful for the multitude of friends I’ve been blessed to spend time with throughout my lifetime. They’ll never know how much they’ve influenced me and how much they mean to me. I’m also thankful for the great people I’ve worked with over the years and how they’ve affected me both personally and professionally.

Finally, I’m thankful for Rick the Stick. This comic strip takes a lot of work and I would easily double it just for the pure satisfaction of it. Of course, I’d love to make a million dollars at it, but that’s unlikely so I’ll just do it for the joy of it for now.

I know I said finally, but thanks to you who read my drivel every day – or at least lift your fingers to delete the email! I appreciate it! Thank you!
