Rick The Stick – a comic on the Interwebs

Good Monday morning! Introducing Rick The Stick In Color! That’s right. Shaking off the ole 256 shades of gray for the beauty of millions of colors. Adding the color has double the amount of time to do the strip on the computer (from scanned sketch). I’d be interested in hearing what you think – there’s a poll on the site now asking whether you think the color is good or whether you prefer the black and white. Speaking of the site – wow! There’s been a LOT of minor improvements. I had a friend (Phil of Frumph.net) help me out. He’s a wiz with PHP and saved me a month of work considering I would have had to a lot of it through trial and error. Thanks a million to him.

So what’s new already? Alright, alright!

Button navigation – now you can browse the strips on the site with handy back and forward buttons right below the strip.
Tagging – tagging is now also conveniently right below the strip – NICE!
Menu tabs – flipped over so they look like their tabs over the strip and not under the header – makes sense*!
New header – Rick as a carnival barker. C’mon, need I say more?
New header II – The header is integrated with the menu tabs giving them a look like they’re floating over the header. Subtle, but a nice design add*!

Coming soon – modifications to the blog post area. Threaded comments. Hey – start letting me know what you think!
More I can’t think of…I’m pretty beat and blah, blah, blah. Gotta catch a ride on the wahmbulance…
