It’s Not About You

damndest Its Not About You

I don’t usually say much about sports here, but I’d like to give a hearty shout out to the Florida Gators hoping they bring home a National Championship in college football tonight.

On to my other passion – Rick the Stick. It’s almost a full week through the color comics. Not much on the comment area. icon sad Its Not About You

Today’s strip features Joy again as it’s setting up the storyline. After reviewing the strip I’m really not happy with the look of Joy in the 4th panel – she’s supposed to be looking over her shoulder at her butt in the mirror, but it just looks like her head’s on backwards. I think it looked better in the sketch. Bummer. I’ll have to do better – my apologies for the less than average mediocrity.

Have any more suggestions for improvement on the strip? There’s a whole comment section! Let’s hear them!!!

I’ve been reading Rick The Stick since mid 2008. You’re doing a great job with this strip, and it’s become addictive. The Color addition is great, I know it requires a lot more of your time, but it’s definitely time well spent. About Joy’s butt, I was wondering if it was an exorcist moment with her head spinning, but I figured it out, no worries on the “mediocrity” :) Thanks again for bring Rick the Stick to the masses.

    GO GATORS !!!!!!

Ken, her head should be turned around….if we see her face in the mirror…then the foreground should have the back of her head in it!!

Love the backwards head! Isn’t it a cartoon world? Why couldn’t her head go all the way around???
