Good Monday morning!
Hope you had a great weekend!
Big snow storm over the weekend in the northeast – hope everyone there is safe and warm. Locally, I know it’s not comparable, but I’m tired of the 40’s and 50’s. Someone turn the heat back on!!
In football, big congrats to the Saints in the SuperBowl – who were underdogs. I think ‘SuperPoster’ Todd was openly rooting for them – so congrats to him too! Also thanks to Todd for the 500th comic pump-up via twitter. What an effort!
My weekend was super busy around the house. Kind of glad to get the week started again. If you notice there are a lot of ’supers’ in this post, you’re right. It’s all about the Super – including Super Stickman.
Thanks for dropping by!
Ken

I know the feeling, I hated having to contend with those hunks of Hollywood when on the dating scene. I don’t think I’d ever had gotten a date if George Burns hadn’t passed….man I was glad when he was off the market.
Wow, now Milton super Stickman’s identity has been revealed to Milton. Let the arguing begin, I don’t think Rick’s gonna buy into it right at first, and then when he does I suspect their will be a lot of heavy struttin’ goin’ on. Walk proud stick boy, walk proud your day of women swooning at you is about to start…..don’t blow it.
You’re right about one thing Todd, and I’m not telling you which!
Dude it was so much fun pumping up your site for #500. Believe it or not your webcomic is the first I went to when I stepped outside of my Sunday Morning comics online zone. I found your site back in November of 2008 and it’s been a great ride ever since. Congrats again on this huge milestone and I’m looking forward to #1000.
I’ve always been curious – maybe you mentioned it and I forgot – how did you find the comic?
The funny part about that is by sheer accident. I was used to reading the daily comics (Daddy at Home, Pearls before Swine, etc.) on the Google Comics page and then one day in November 2008 that page was down, and for several days afterwards it was down again, so I started searching for online comics and found a site that listed the ones I was looking for and had a link to some other webcomics so I clicked over and there was a banner ad at the top for Rick the Stick. I clicked on it and started reading, I was a bit confused at first I’ll be honest cause I felt like I had jumped into the middle of a story (which it turned out I had) so I went back to the beginning and started reading up to that point and the rest was history, I was absolutely hooked.
I discovered many other wonderful webcomics by the WCP Collective link list you have at the side of your page, once I started in there I found comic after comic that I could relate to and really enjoyed reading, but I kept coming back to Rick every day. So I book marked it, and before I knew it I had book marked another, and another, and another….now 52 webcomics later I have a full schedule of reading each day.
Not only did your site turn me onto Rick the Stick and his many antics, but you turned me onto a whole new community of webcomickers I didn’t even know existed until I clicked your Ad banner one day.
Thank You for the laughs and for the new world you’ve opened up for me.
And for his inability to get any actual work done at work. Thanks Drab
. Yeah I too have started on other comics thanks to RTS and Drab. Not 52 but enough
What’s wrong with not getting any actual work done at work? Apparently you do it all the time! BARUMP-UMP-TISH! Just kidding bre!
I get tons of work done Ralonzo, I RT your tweet drinks and triva posts all the time. Isn’t that work?
That’s a great story Todd! Thanks for sharing!! BTW – what a coincidence that our sons share the same name!!
I know, and our first born’s too. I hear twighlight zone music.
I love the perspective in the last frame. Nicely done. Good way to start 501(Now you can say I got my 501’s on ). I think Milton needs to be his side kick you can call him “The Straight Man”. And No I don’t mean it that way I mean like George and Gracie, Dean and Jerry Drab and RAlonzo. You know. Well may thats a bad name how the Brain well Disney has that one trademarked probably. Robin, no; Nightwing, no; Speedy DAMN to many comic in my head. NO WAIT I GOT IT! THE DUDE THAT KEEPS RICK FROM KILLING HIMSELF, TDTKRFKHS. We can throw a apostrophe and may be an umlaut on some letters and make it Norse sounding like Mjolnir. T’dtkr Fkĥs.
Thanks Raul – glad to have you commenting again!
I like the acronym, although it might be hard to keep straight and fit into word balloons! Not to mention the font I use might not have the umlauts!!
I’m kinda getting the impression from the panel door that smacked Rick that someone else has staged his injury to see if he was really Super Stickman. Perhaps the CMS is at it again.
I like Ralonzo’s idea of Milton as his side kick. He’d probably be like Hong Kong Phooeys side kick and actually do all the solvin’ and resolvin’ of issues and let Rick bask in the glory.
Hong Kong Phooey! Great reference!
