Howdy!

Rick is a gamer. Old-school style. Wish I had something interesting to say today. Let’s just leave it at that…

Thanks for dropping by!

Don’t you wish life was like that too, where we could write down how we want others to interact with us, only to change the rules when it well suited us….well I guess Rick’s life is already like that, so why not his gaming style too. You go Rick, keep yourself in the winning position as long as you can.

Few things I noticed today, that I thought were cool, just from my perspective.

    1. I know Ken’s a south paw, but I just never really paid attentions (bad on my part) that Rick is a southpaw as well. I just found that fascinating and wanted to share.

    2. The halo in the last panel is not just hovering above Rick’s head, it’s physically attached via a rod. Thus showing his ability to act innocent, but with the attachment you know it’s not real, so you know it’s fake innocence. Or at least that’s what I got from it.

As always great strip, and looking forward to the remainder of the week to see how Rick’s new game comes along, and who will challenge him. I hope it’s Winchester…I sure miss that Caveman.

Thanks Todd – Rick is definitely playing by his own rules.

      1. Good catch – I think there were two instances where I accidentally drew him right handed – and it bothers me. I may go back and correct that…okay, maybe not.

      2. I think the halo was actually on a timer, it was dusk and Rick needed the light so he could see what he was writing.

Winchester has been dying to make a return…hint hint…

Halo’s on a timer huh? So sort of like the popper on the side of a ham or turkey that pops out when the meats done, the halo pops out of Rick’s head when he wants to portray a sense of innocence. Man to just get a glimpse in that hair for a panel or two would be awesome…nudge, nudge…wink, wink.

hmmm…is that why women are good at checkers?
