Look how I took this awesome paper money you can spend almost anywhere and turned into this plastic card you can only spend at certain places. I narrowed your freedom of selection - happy holidays!Don’t Look a Gift Card in the Mouth

damndest Dont Look a Gift Card in the Mouth

Good morning!

Is it humpday when most people have off on Friday? If you’re not celebrating a holiday this weekend, then I say Happy Humpday. I purposely scheduled myself to work Thursday because it’s one of the quietest days to work all year. It’s amazing. New Year’s eve is similar, but people are rowdy about going out. Xmas Eve is not the same. People are happy about the day off and this weekend it makes a three day weekend – or if you’re like me – a five day weekend! WOOHOO! Nice!! I’ll be cranking out more Rick the Sticks as I forgot how valuable having the buffer was. It gives me more time to add to the site and blog.

Regardless, enjoy your day and as always…

Thanks for dropping by!
Ken

It just so happens Rick already has the gift cards on him. I’m thinking he gave up on the idea of giving gifts long before his heated discussion with Milton. How can you tell it was heated? Well just look at Milton giving the parental Clap of the hands as he drives his point across in the third panel.

You know Milton’s excited now about the $1,000 gift card, but wait until he discovers it for something like Pet Smart, or Baby Gap; which ever place was closest when Rick decided to start handing out Gift Cards. :) Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying Rick is shallow, just not as thoughtful as he wants everyone else to be.

Really lookin’ forward to the end of this week’s story arc. It was great to watch the drawing of the Christmas Even strip come to life. Glad I had a chance to drop by, and thanks for Sharing that with us Ken.

You might be right about Rick already giving up on the idea of giving people what they wanted – although, you never know – he may always carry gift cards with him!

Who knew he had a wallet! Another thing he keeps in his hair?

The broadcast was great. Thanks for dropping by and keeping it interesting! I ended up with 4 completed strips yesterday (two at night)! With the holidays pending, that will be a great help.

Maybe one day we can get a sneak peek into Rick’s hair…nudge, nudge…wink, wink. We’ve seen all the different types of hair Rick has, now let’s see what’s inside.

Can I have a 1000 dollar gift card to Homedepot PLEASE

    • tmcelmurry

I had one set aside for you up by the register there at Home Depot in Tampa, FL. When you go to the Register, just tell them you want the $1,000 dollar gift card. They may want you to run your Debit Card/Credit Card thru the machine as well…that’s just to verify you are who you say you are. Just consider it a Merry Christmas from me to you. :)

That’s so kind of you Todd – I’ll let you know how it works out for Raul!

    • Ken Drab

No – I already gave you a gift!
