Hey, with a beginning and ending like that we can just fill in the middle with all that stuff that runs through our own mind. The problem with most books is that the beginning and end are too far apart anyway. (Tell Rick I did come back.)
I ended up getting the Cintiq 12WX. It essentially came down to a portability issue. I like to draw when I travel – especially getting a lot done at airports. I was fortunate to be able to afford either, but since I can bring the 12WX with me, that was deal breaker. Do you have one?
Wow Rick, I’m choking up right now so bear with me. That’s such a great story as it is, let’s just throw out the middle and keep it as is. It speaks to me on an emotional level. I feel as if I’m the worm.
The saddest part about today’s strip is that all that paper encompassing Rick is not failed attempts at the middle, it’s all failed attempts at the beginning and end.

Haha – good point! Rick’s around here somewhere – I’m sure he’ll be impressed with your return! Welcome back!!
I think War *or* Peace would’ve been a catchy title, too.
Did you pick up the new Cintiq 21UX?
I bet no one floated that by Tolstoy!

No, I don’t, I just use an Intuos. The Cintiqs are pretty slick, though. Maybe one day . . .
I ended up getting a refurbished. MacMall had them for only $799, which isn’t cheap, but it’s not $2k either!! I plan on doing a review next week.

Haha – please try and make it through the day Todd – we need you out there! And great point about the paper!
A riveting tale indeed. Can’t wait for the sequel where the worm finds out the rogue bird is his brother, or dad, or ex wife.
Haha – good idea!
for a worm, that’s a pretty happy story!
I’m guessing that’s what’s making Rick so emotional. PETW doesn’t have the same ring to it does it?
Well it least it isn’t a trajedy. He has room to work it now.
ha! apparently that’s his problem – too much room!
Rick’s writing process hits close to home! It can be tough putting characters through the middle part of the story’s challenges!
Maybe Rick should visit Chromarch! On second thought, the boys don’t need more of a distraction do they?
good one today
Thanks bre!
