Good Monday morning everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and are excited for Thanksgiving and a short work week! I actually took next Monday off so I have a FIVE day weekend coming up – WOOOHOOO! My Thanksgiving break actually includes a trip to West Palm Beach to see family and friends so that is a bonus – not to mention that we get to show off RocketBoy! I also get to play football next Friday so the weekend and Monday will be time in recovery I’m sure.
The strip is done for the week – which is AWESOME! I also have an additional two and a half weeks written which is INCREDIBLE!!! I’m bringing my drawing pad to West Palm in hopes of getting my buffer up to two weeks – so wish me luck!
There’s finally a sense of a balance of normalcy again as my nearly four month old is beginning to settle into a routine of sorts and my wife and I are getting better at handling an infant. Not that we weren’t good at it, but you’re learning as you go (which no one tells you BEFORE you have kids) so it’s not as easy as you’d think. The good thing is, that you’re never as bad at it as you think either so as long as you keep your child happy and healthy, you’re doing a good job. Our son seems to like smiling and laughing and that’s a GREAT thing!
