Joy is the girl that Rick has always fantasized himself being with. Unfortunately, in the past she would tease him by indicating she’s interested (mostly for his money), but most times she fails to remember who he is. She has a secret benefactor who may be the head of the CMS and has often unwittingly been used to lure Rick into plots to kill him.

Okay, so yesterday’s comic may have not been so clear – at least as clear as I’d planned…so I’m hoping today’s clears it up a little bit.

BTW – Before I get into this, I am extremely critical of my art – and I think I have a long, long way to go. That being said I am personally happy with the way Rick’s character design has progressed as I noted a couple of weeks ago. Thus, I’m working on tweaking Milton. One of my biggest weaknesses is arms and hands. That’s the reason Milton and a most of the other characters have the same hands as Rick. So that’s my focus when I’ve been doodling and will continue to be until I nail it. I think I’m off to a good start with the following tweak:

Stop Looking At Me

Holy Humpday! I had an awesome Tuesday. How awesome? It started when I notice my banner was up on 105.5 FM the Beat from Ft. Myers, Florida. That was pretty sweet, but then I got home from kicking butt at work to see my son and hang with him for a while. Then I checked my email. In it was this [ CLICK HERE ] Wow. WOW! WOW!!

Thanks to Scrappy from 105.5 FM and all the people who put that together. It’s awesome. For all the effort I’ve done over the last 11 months, at least now I’ll have this. It’s worth all the mediocrity!!!

Trust Issue

Happy Tuesday everyone! I went to the International Mall in Tampa on Saturday. This mall is conveniently close to a lot of hotels and…Raymond James Stadium. The same stadium the SuperBowl was play at on Sunday. Needless to say, the mall was loaded with black and gold. While people watching, I posted my observations through Twitter – and in case you missed it (most likely you did because you have a life), I’m reposting them here…well just for the hell of it! These are not necessarily in any order.

Steeler fans in full force @ mall. Didn’t realize ticket lanyards were cool day b4 game – this just in…THEY’RE NOT!! Guh!!!
Weather dips below 60 = permission for ALL women to wear boots…bonus for boots w/6″ heels or furry lining.
Local Floridians dress warm when weather in 60′s, northerners in shorts & tshirts.
Mall is packed…what recession?
Addendum to #4: mall packed – no lines @ registers.
Steeler fans outnumber Cardinal fans 50-1. Maybe better malls in AZ?
You can NEVER overdress for the mall.
Women outnumber men 10-1. BORED men outnumber bored women 10,000-1. The one woman may have been a man in another life.
I may look like a stalker leering @ unbored women in Steeler shorts and boots and the like…
Those with bad taste RARELY know when to say when.
Just saw a plaid buttondown shirt w/no sleeves…and a hood. Britney’s people must be in town.

Friday! Well we made it through another week! WOOHOOO! Today is a big day for the strip! The comic is going to be featured on 105.5 The Beat out of Ft. Myers, Florida’s website!!!! I know what you’re saying: why would you feature your strip on a hip-hop station…in Ft. Myers? Good question and the truth is – they’re putting Rick’s banner just below BABE OF THE DAY! That’s right I said it! That’s the real reason! Oh and they’re willing to put us up there! I don’t know when it will start, but I can’t wait. Special thanks to the best DJ on the radio today SCRAPPY who’s making it happen. If you want to hear the latest gossip with a special twist or some crazy – and I mean crazy crazy phone pranks, you have to check it out on their site or just head to HeyScrappy.com. As payback, I plan on blowing up his page and making it pop. You can also listen live over there so if hip-hop’s your thing – do it up!

Funny, some people just noticed yesterday that I stopped coloring the strips. At least they noticed. You may have also noticed that the strip was a repeat yesterday. Call it a glitch in the matrix, call it user error or whatever, but I used the incorrect name structure when I save the file so it didn’t see the strip. I’m a dope, but we know this so it is what it is and here’s yesterday’s strip (you can also click here to just to go back and see it now in all it’s fixed glory.

Thursday? O rly? Ya think that scares me? Nah, you have to come up with something a whole lot bigger than Thursday to get me running scared. Now, if you turned around and told me that we were skipping straight through to Monday, then I might be scared.

That’s just stoopid, but I’m leaving it there. Thanks to those who have been leaving comments on the site – it’s very nice of ya. Vote in the new poll if you get a chance. I need to get new wallpaper done for my other site: GatorPaper. Sooo much to do, but I don’t want to sacrifice a minute with the family to do it. Guess, I’ll just have to start sleeping less…as soon as I get rid of this annoying cough…sheeesh!
