Good morning!
We’re baaaack! It’s really exciting to be posting comics again. I know it was only two weeks, but it felt like a lifetime. That being said – since my time off has been so rewarding personally, I’ll probably take more time in late November and/or early December as we welcome in a new addition to the family.
As for Rick, it’s been great to take a step back and try and take a fresh look at the comic. It’s also been nice to not have to worry about being so close to deadline that I need to finish the comic and create the post before I can head in to bed. Nice – very nice. So now I have a one week buffer with comics inked – but there are four weeks written and all of them have been sketched. I’ll be eager to see how much I can get ahead. We’re planning some family time off but I’ll continue to post the comic while we’re away – but I know I’ll be ‘champing at the bit’ to get some work done – especially with so much relaxing going on. 
I’m also proud to be working with some fellow webcomic artists on a couple of new projects. I can’t tell you much, because it’s all just come about over the last week or so. Regardless, I think it will be interesting. Especially since I think I can honestly say I respect each of them and enjoy talking to them so much. So I am really excited. More to come I’m sure. Ooooh, sooo mysterious!

Rick with a Tattoo? He couldn’t even keep it together for a simple needle, much less one that’s vibrating up and down pumping ink into his epidermis.
Welcome back Rick, it’s great to see ya around the neighborhood again. Looks like the neighborhoods gotten a little tougher since we last saw ya. You know if you want to look tough you might thing about a Mohawk, no wait already done that. OK, you might want to try walkin’ around with your shirt off….no wait again, you don’t wear any clothes. You know a head band is usually tough lookin….OK, that’s already been done too. Well crud Rick I don’t think there’s much else you can do to look tough. With your physique a workout is out of the question….especially with your muscle tone as well. Maybe get ya a Eddie Munster hair cap like the dude on the right, and see where that takes ya.
If you decide a tattoo is the route to take I wish ya luck. Not on the tattoo itself but on picking one out. I have a feeling picking a tough looking tattoo is going to be harder than getting it applied.

Rick’s glad to be back – and you’re right where you left off before the break. Inside my head.

I think we’re just on the same wave length maybe. Can’t wait to see where this story arc goes.
Also, what’s with the 3 finger salute on the dude’s shirt on the first panel? I used to see a salute like that in college, but it had a R-rated connotation to it. Didn’t want to read anything into the shirt until I went straight to the source.
