Good morning!
Yep, morning. I assume everyone reads this as soon as they get up and get logged in. I mean, what could be better after dreaming of Rick the Stick than waking up realizing you have a braaaaand new RTS hanging out in your email? Or it’s just sittin’ there in your RSS feed or on the site just waiting for you patiently.
Unless…
It’s the weekend. Then what do you do? Dang. Might have to work on that one.
LAST MINUTE EDIT: This was too good to pass up. Fellow webcartoonist and frequent commenter Bearman made this awesome guest strip that nails some of the music eggcorns out there. Check it out. BTW – he does a better stickman than me! Thanks dude!
Apologies, I’ve been out of touch for about a week. I had a bachelor party to attend in Fort Lauderdale and aside from the great time celebrating the waning moments of a good friend’s single life – I was out of sorts missing my family and overall, just not being productive (not my style these days). Drinking and partying kinda left my lifestyle about a year ago when I decided I wanted to stick around for my son “Rocketboy’s” first birthday. But like I said, I had a great time and I’m grateful my friend invited me.
I’ve made some changes to the website – not sure if you’ve noticed – and there is more to come. I’ll also be working on putting together RTS Volume 2. I just need to come up with a title. If anyone wants to offer their thoughts and it bowls me over – I’ll get you an artists version. Is there anything about the site that bothers you? Drop it down in the comments section and I’ll address it. That’s right – drop it. Speaking of dropping it…
Thanks for dropping by!
Ken

No one does RTS better than you. But it was fun trying my hand at it.
I am going on a vaca Bachelor party myself in a few weeks. I am too old for this.
I wondered where you were this week. Great strip today and I loved Rick’s appearance on Bearmans page. Maybe Rick ought to do an album.
Bearman did a great job, I’m still trying to figure out some of those lyrics.
Great Strip today, noticed Marvin had a bit of a makeover, and an ever changing Tie.
I love the conversation between Milton and his dad today between panels 3 and 4 about the calling the Police, that’s very funny, makes me think of Airplane dialog.
Title for the 2nd Book huh? I’m thinking about the stuff that’s in this one. Here’s a few thoughts that come to mind:
Sticking it Out
Hero to Zero (playing off the Super Stickman/Rick theme)
Rick the Stick: The Stickman, The legend
Sticking with it: The life and times of Rick the Stick
Rick the Stick: Now with more Tater Tots
*I’m sure I’ll have more to come, but that’s just off the top of my head for now*
I like the changes to the site. The one that’s really impressing me, and I’ve already used tons with comments, and replies is the drop down for the archives.
Ken, I can’t stop thinking about “Who’s Harry Crumb” because of today’s strip. I love the fact that the Hover Rick refers to helping with the Ransom Note. If it says, “Send 2 tons of Tater Tots” then we’ll definitely know Rick helped some.
“If we find that crazy typewriter, we’ll find our Kidnapper.” – Harry Crumb
