Good morning – hope you had a great weekend!!
First of all, I’d like to congratulate, great friend, longtime reader and occasional poster Heck Yeah Man (Andy) and his new bride on their wedding I was honored to be a part of this past weekend. The couple looked great and I shined as a groomsman. I mean… Anyway, it was really special of them to also ask my son to be the ring bearer – he looks awesome in a suit – almost as good as me.
Andy is a great guy and Carla is wonderful. I wish them the best – they deserve it. They also happened to pick the best spot in the world to have their wedding – Gainesville, FL. Mostly because they live there – for now.
In other awesomely happenings, I got an email from Todd McElmurry late last week and since he won the Webcomic Planet Easter Egg Contest, he had an extra copy of Rick The Stick Volume 1: Flushtered and his plan was to give it away running his own contest on twitter. I had mixed feelings about it at first. I mean – AWESOME job promoting the comic and GREATLY appreciated. Then on the other hand “AN EXTRA COPY” of RTS V1: Flushtered? GAH!! If only three or four were ENOUGH!! Then finally, WOW – I can’t thank Todd enough for helping put forth the effort to help promote the comic. Now if the comic could only live up to the standard worthy of such effort!!
If you’re interested in following Todd on twitter, you can follow him here. If you’re interested in following me (and you are – trust me – I’m mildly entertaining and I post reminders about the comic through Twitter) click here.
Thanks for dropping by!
Ken
Congratulations Heck Yea Man on your wedding. May you and your bride have many, many, many wonderful years together.
Wow, what will Rick do with more money indeed. I’d love to have that problem. Hey Rick here’s a little financial increase on me. O->-<.
Hey Ken, you know me a copy or twelve of RTS Flushtered is always great to have around but sharing that copy with someone else and getting them interested in the site is what makes me excited. Always glad to spread RTS to the masses.
Nice stickman there. Rick usually has to allow 4-6 weeks delivery of the royalties – apparently there’s a lot of paperwork involved but they’re trying to go digital. Then Rick could get instant royalties!!
Congrats Heck Yea Man… Saturday will be my 39th anniversary. I hope you can enjoy your next 39 years as much as I have.
Poor old Rick and all that pesky money. I’ll be glad to help him get rid of some of it if it becomes too much of a burden. After all what are friends for.
Happy Anniversary Bo! Wow – that’s awesome!
